As we pass swiftly by the middle of 2023 and enter the second half of the year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the success so far and look towards what's coming up next!
The year so far!
2023 started off with a bang with such events as the 2023 Western Bay Community Awards, Electa Business & Innovation Award start-of-year events such as Top Shop and the Main Award launch events, we were also involved with Work Ready Kāpiti’s events such as the Employing Gen Z seminar with local employers!
This year has been a great opportunity to do some strategic planning and renewing of our messaging after the chaos of COVID. Over the course of June, we strategised and chatted with Anna from ACS Marketing to review our messaging, ensuring that the growth we’ve made this last 5 years is reflected in our messaging!

As many of you know, the second half of the year is always our busiest time, with many of our larger events falling between August and November! As exciting as this is, it means the team have been preparing well in advance to ensure all go ahead as smoothly as possible!

Electra Business & Innovation Awards, are always a fabulous night celebrating the Kāipiti and Horowhenua business communities. This year will be our 5th year managing the event and our first as the lead graphic design team as well, so it's exciting to see how it’ll all come together!
Work Ready Kāpiti #EmployerMeets and Annual Awards, throughout August and September, WRK have their #EmployerMeets which are great opportunities for the local business community and rangatahi to network! Then after these events, the Annual Awards are held to celebrate the rangatahi’s hard work throughout the year; they’re also an opportunity for businesses and sponsors to get the recognition they deserve for supporting such a great charity!
We absolutely love the Rocketspark web builder platform and have been clients of theirs since the start of our business journey. It was lovely to then be approached to support the Rocketspark team with event logistics for some upcoming events they are holding around New Zealand! Keep an eye out for Brunch by the Beach in your region!
WOW, Charlotte and Natalie are both super excited to be able to dress up and attend the World of Wearable Arts (WOW) for 2023 and be able to gain inspiration from such a stunning event. WOW brings together the art industry and the event world to create one of the most stunning events of the year.
We’re super stoked to announce our new client for 2024 - Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari! Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari is a mainland ecological island in the North Island of New Zealand. Surrounded by one of the world’s longest pest-proof fences, their ancient forest offers a sanctuary for populations of many of New Zealand’s most endangered species, such as birds, skinks, geckos, frogs, bats, and insects. We will be assisting with the marketing and event management of their upcoming fundraising dinner, which includes an art auction. Being able to support such a fantastic organisation and help generate income for such a great cause is super exciting for the team!
